Overview
The Content Designer activity supports activity completion, allowing you to define when an activity is marked as complete.
Available completion options
None
No completion conditions are applied.Students must manually mark the activity as done
Students can manually mark the activity as complete.
This is Moodle’s default setting, allowing students to mark and unmark completion at any time.Add requirements
If enabled, you can choose one or more of the following completion criteria:
View the activity
Marks the activity as complete when the student views it.
Completed when user finishes the content (Pro only)
Requires the student to reach the end of the content.
This is triggered when the outro element is displayed. If no outro element is configured, this criterion cannot be met.Complete mandatory elements (Pro only)
Requires the student to finish all elements marked as mandatory in the content.
Receive grade (Pro only)
Marks the activity as complete when the student receives a grade.
You can specify whether to require:
Any grade, or
A passing grade
Additional option: Set reminder in timeline
If enabled, a reminder appears in the student’s Timeline block, encouraging them to complete the activity. The reminder text is: Content Designer requires action.
