About automation instances
Users with the requisite permissions can create automation instances within a Moodle course. Commonly these users are admins and managers, but also teachers can be allowed to create and edit instances.
Each instance is associated with a specific automation template. The initial settings for each instance are inherited from the associated template. However, if a user wishes to modify these values, they can activate the override toggle and make local adjustments to the settings. To manage the instances go to automation in your Moodle course. You can also manage all instances of a specific template with instance management.
